Hi year 4, Here is a summary of some of the things you can be working on if you are at home.

  • Read for 20 minutes.
  • Practise your times tables for 20 minutes.
  • Practise your spellings for 20 minutes.
  • Maths: Division
  • English: To engage with a text
  • Topic: Using your knowledge organiser and everything you’ve learnt this term, write a paragraph explaining what happens in the upper course, middle course and lower course of a river.

Hello year 4! If you are working from home today, here are some things you can be doing.

  • Read for 20 minutes.
  • Practise your times tables for 20 minutes.
  • Practise your spellings for 20 minutes.
  • Maths: Column Multiplication
  • English: SPAG: Adverbs
  • Art: Watch this video and have a go at sketching your own river scene. Don’t forget to use crossing hatching, stippling and shading.

  • Knowledge Lesson: As this is your last virtual knowledge lesson, I would like you to post on the blog all the knowledge you can remember from year 4’s knowledge lessons. Instead of quiz questions to help jog your memory, just write a list of everything you can remember! I will accept posts at 3pm.
